Historical Information: The present Church at Chapel of Garioch was opened for worship in 1813. The Church building is extremely beautiful. Its simplicity and quiet dignity make it one of the most cherished of our country churches. The Church has seating for 400 people. It has an outstanding pipe organ and its excellent acoustics make it a popular venue for concerts. The church building has recently been enhanced to provide an upgraded toilet facility with disabled access. In the Gordon Presbytery Plan the church building has been designated as a ‘Required Building’ with a long term future. Blairdaff and Chapel of Garioch Churches united on the 24th April 2007.
